ABOUT RESI SOUTH
For the first time ever, our region will welcome a globally established life sciences investor conference, and it is coming to Atlanta. After months of planning with partners across the region, Atlanta is thrilled to welcome RESI South, to The Whitley Atlanta Buckhead, on March 25th for 1:1 meetings and sessions, plus two additional days of virtual partnering, March 26 & and 27.
Life Science Nation announced ‘RESI South’ in partnership with a newly formed coalition, SELifeSci, consisting of life science associations representing Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Arkansas. RESI South is expected to draw a crowd of over 500 bioscience and medtech entrepreneurs and 500 premier investors, family offices, and key executives worldwide to Atlanta in late March 2024.

ABOUT SE LIFESCI
The Southeast Life Science Alliance comprises life science associations across the southeastern United States dedicated to fostering the growth of the life sciences industry in their respective states. Established in 2023, the Alliance aims to tackle the unmet needs of innovators in the region, particularly addressing the shortfall in venture funding.
The life science sector in the southeastern region possesses robust research capabilities, a skilled workforce, infrastructure, government backing, and an innovative culture, enabling it to stand on par with anywhere in the country. The primary hurdle lies in securing funding for our entrepreneurs.

At most conferences, partnering involves scheduling one-on-one meetings with other attendees, often with minimal information about the other party before the meeting is booked. RESI’s partnering platform distinguishes itself from other events by offering a life-sciences-specific environment composed of exclusively obtained mandates (profiles) from personal interviews with investors in our network. RESI partnering provides an efficient platform for startups to connect with active investors in the early-stage life sciences arena. Through the curated database, startups can search by using filters that reflect their company, product, and stage of development to source investors that are the best fit for them. This focused approach enables all parties to efficiently identify and connect with each other, fostering meaningful discussions and partnerships.

The first day of RESI will be held in person at The Whitley Atlanta Buckhead March 25th for 1:1 meetings and sessions, while the 26th and 27th will be virtual via our partnering platform.
